Using Demo Cars

Demo Cars is operated by Prominent Automotive Pvt Ltd. These terms apply to your use of democars.co.in and its enquiry features. Please read them alongside our Privacy policy.

The website helps you find demo vehicles and contact us about them. Browsing a listing or sending an enquiry does not reserve a car or create a vehicle sale agreement.

Listings and availability

Listings show information available when they are prepared or last confirmed. A car may be sold, withdrawn or used for further demonstration before the website is updated. Please confirm availability, mileage, specifications and condition with us before making a decision.

Some photographs are representative images of the model. They may show a different colour, trim or specification from the vehicle listed. Ask for photographs of the actual car and arrange an inspection if those details affect your choice.

Manufacturer names and logos identify the vehicles. Their appearance on this website does not by itself establish an endorsement of Demo Cars by that manufacturer.

Prices and savings

Unless a listing says otherwise, prices are ex-showroom. Registration, road tax, insurance and other charges may add to the amount payable. Ask for a written breakdown of the final price.

The saving shown is the listed new-car ex-showroom price minus the demo car's asking price. The percentage uses that new-car list price as its base and is rounded to a whole number. This comparison does not deduct discounts or offers that may be available on a new car.

A listed price is an indication for your enquiry. The price and any applicable conditions must be confirmed in writing before you book or buy. If a listing contains an error, we will clarify it before asking you to proceed.

Enquiries and purchases

Our enquiry form requires SMS phone verification before preparing a WhatsApp message for you to review and send. Verification confirms access to the phone number, not identity or a booking. Opening WhatsApp does not mean the message has been sent or a booking accepted. The website has no online checkout and does not collect payments.

Before a purchase, confirm the seller's legal identity and the written sale terms. The seller named in the sale documents is responsible for the sale under those documents and applicable law. Any service we provide as part of the transaction must also be clear before you agree to it.

Bookings and cancellations

Ask for the booking amount, payment recipient, delivery conditions and cancellation or refund terms in writing before paying. Verify the recipient using our confirmed contact number if you are unsure about a payment request.

Any condition describing a booking amount as non-refundable must be disclosed and agreed before payment, and remains subject to applicable law. These website terms do not create a blanket no-refund rule or remove a remedy available to you under law.

Checking a vehicle

Before buying, check the actual car's condition, service history, mileage, registration status, ownership documents and warranty. Confirm the warranty start date, remaining cover and any exclusions with the seller and the relevant warranty provider.

Demo vehicles may have been used for display or test drives. A description such as "near-new" does not mean that a vehicle is unused. Financing, insurance and registration arrangements, if offered, need their own confirmed terms.

Responsible use of the website

Use the website for lawful purposes and provide accurate details when you contact us. Do not impersonate another person, send harmful material, interfere with the site or attempt to access systems without permission.

You may view listings and share their links for personal use. Website text, design and images belong to us or their respective owners. Ask for permission before reproducing them commercially.

Privacy and external services

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle enquiry information. WhatsApp and other external services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Review those when you use their services.

Your rights and disputes

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but access can be interrupted and listings can need correction. Please contact us if you spot an error or have a complaint about an enquiry or service.

Indian law applies to these terms. Nothing here excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits your rights under consumer protection or other applicable law. You may approach the court, consumer commission or other authority that has jurisdiction over your complaint.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. A later website update does not change an existing written sale agreement.

A vehicle used by a dealership for customer test drives, showroom displays and events, before it is sold on at a reduced price.
